- 1 cup raw rice
- 4tbsp moong dal
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 4 tbsp broken cashewnuts
- 3-4 tbsp ghee
- 3½ cup water
- salt as per taste
- wash rice and dal. cook them together with ½ tsp salt in 2cups of water for 10 minutes
- Add ½ tsp salt, curry leaves and ginger with 1 ½ cup of water and microwave for 5 minutes .
- Microwave cashew nuts, pepper and cumin seeds for 2½ minutes
- Pour this over rice dal mixture and mix well .
- Serve steaming hot with ghee on top.
