Veg Pulao

Ingredients:

1 cup basmati rice soaked in water for an hour
½ cup green peas
2-3 cloves
½ cup finely chopped carrot
1 bay leaf
1 tablespoon butter
Salt as per taste
2 cups water

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in pressure cooker. Add bay leaf and cloves.
  2. Add soaked rice, chopped carrot and peas. Saute it on medium flame for 2 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle salt and add water.
  4. Pressure cook upto 2 whistles.
  5. Once the pressure is released, Serve it hot.
