Kheer

Ingredients:

1 cup cooked rice
2 cups whole milk
3-5 spoons of sugar
2 cardamom
A few cashews and raisins (soak them in water for 15 minutes)

Directions:

  1. Pour whole milk and rice in a heavy bottomed pan and cook it for on a medium to low flame by slowing stirring it continuously till it thickens a little. This may take 10-15 minutes.
  2. Add sugar and cardamom to it and keep stirring it.
  3. Add the dry fruits and cook for another 2 minutes and turn of the flame.
  4. Serve it hot or cold.
